Janice Combs, Diddy’s mother, is breaking her silence about the Netflix documentary ‘Sean Combs: The Reckoning.’ In a statement issued to Deadline, Comb accused the documentary of spreading “false narratives.” “I am writing this statement to correct some of the lies presented in the Netflix,” Combs wrote. “These inaccuracies regarding my son Sean’s upbringing and family life is intentionally done to mislead viewers and further harm our reputation.” “The allegations stated by Mr. Kirk Burrows that my son slapped me while we were conversing after the tragic City College events on December 28, 1991, are inaccurate and patently false,” Combs continued. “That was a very sad day for all of us.” “For him to use this tragedy and incorporate fake narratives to further his prior failed and current attempt to gain what was never his, Bad Boy Records is wrong, outrageous and past offensive.” Combs went on to demand that Netflix remove the alleged inaccuracies. “I am requesting that these distortions, falsehoods and misleading statements be publicly retracted,” she exclaimed. 50 Cent says he has no issue with diddy: According to 50 Cent, the executive producer of the doc, he has no personal agenda and just wants the truth to come out. During an interview with GQ, 50 shared that he was motivated to make the Netflix documentary to take a stand for hip-hop. “To be honest, just the culture itself,” 50 explained. “If someone’s not saying something, then you would assume that everybody in hip-hop is okay with what’s going on. Because [other rappers] will say, “I ain’t going to say nothing. I’m going to mind my business,” because of a position that [Diddy] held in culture for so long, you understand? So [that] would leave me. Without me saying that I will do it, there’s nobody there.” 50 then spoke about how people came forward to share their accounts of Diddy’s alleged deeds. “When you’re part of the culture, things will come to you faster than something that’s not,” he said. “Because whoever he’ll be working with, it is usually [someone] in or around the culture, so it surfaced.”

Boxing champion Claressa Shields — also known as the GWOAT — is ready to fight any woman and puts $100,000 on the line. The GWOAT had social media in a frenzy on December 7 after issuing a $100,000 open challenge to any woman who thinks they can beat the boxing superstar. The undisputed champion posted a collection of training photos and shots of her five belts, then used the caption to unveil an offer aimed at any woman who believes she can test her in the ring. “LIKE I SAID I GOT $100K FOR ANY GIRL FROM ANY HOOD, ANY COUNTRY!” she wrote, stressing that the challenge is open to all backgrounds and levels. She said the only way she could justify “wasting my precious time proving what I already know” would be through a full reality series built around the challenge. Claressa “GWOAT” Shields Issues $100K Challenge To Any Woman To Boxing Match “ONLY WAY I CAN ACCEPT… IS A REALITY TV SHOW, LIVE AUDITIONS & COMPETITIVE COMPETITIONS!” she wrote. She tagged WWE, Netflix, Zeus Network, and YouTube while asking, “WHERE WILL THE HOME BE FOR THIS REALITY TV SHOW?” hinting that she is actively seeking a partner to bring the concept to life. Her pitch follows the GWOAT campaigning for a superfight with legendary boxer Laila Ali. The hashtags — #Claressashields, #GWOAT, #FIGHTTHEGWOAT100K — reinforced a sense of branding that matches her larger-than-life ambition. Shields added fuel to the conversation in the comments when she wrote, “It’s a few of y’all I actually believe got some real heart and self-belief, I’m making a list of y’all names.” The comment signaled that she is taking the responses seriously and may already be evaluating potential contenders. Shields is a two-time Olympic gold medalist and undefeated, with belts in multiple divisions. With one post, Shields cast herself as champion, gatekeeper, and executive producer, transforming a challenge into a possible global spectacle and placing the burden on hopefuls to prove they belong in the ring with the self-proclaimed Greatest Woman of All Time.
Wale Says Kid Cudi Kicked Him While Down In New Interview
While promoting his new album, Wale discusses past tension with Kid Cudi, one of the most infamous fallouts of the early 2000s’ blog era. In a new Boardroom Talks interview released December 5, the D.C. rapper revisits what happened between him and Kid Cudi — a story that has followed him for more than a decade — while revealing where they are today. For the first time in years, Wale breaks down how their friendship unraveled and why the disconnect left such a mark on him. Asked where things stand today, Wale didn’t sugarcoat it. “I don’t talk to Cudi… I don’t harbor nothing, but I really felt like they kicked me when I was down,” he said. The rupture traces back to Cudi’s 2010 Complex interview, when Cudi publicly dismissed Wale’s artistry. Wale remembers the sting clearly: “Then people like Wale get mad that ’Ye ain’t give him no beats— ’Ye ain’t give you no beats because we ain’t fucking with your raps. It’s not a conspiracy theory. We don’t fuck with you musically, so we’re not going to provide music for you.” Wale says the comments hit harder because the two weren’t just labelmates or collaborators — they were friends. “We used to run together… and you going to say something like that to Complex, which is kind of like my direct fan base?” he said. “That joint fucked me up… like it really did.” Wale Speaks On Past Beef With Kid Cudi The tension didn’t end there. Wale says a later collaboration only worsened the divide, claiming Cudi recorded his part “over the phone” and refused to fix it when the album deadline approached. According to Wale, Cudi brushed him off, saying, “Everybody just wants me to do everything for them.” That moment pushed Wale over the edge. “I was like, let’s fight… like, now it’s not even no industry thing,” he admitted. “You this person, and you talking to me like that? Let’s do it. It was really bad for a couple years.” Wale also acknowledged the resentment he felt toward Cudi for receiving widespread empathy for struggles he was also dealing with. “He would get the grace… and I ain’t there getting nothing,” he said. “That joint was boiling my blood.” Still, Wale says he’s past the anger. “Now I’m on some everybody, it’s kumbaya. I ain’t trying to keep harboring these feelings,” he said — closing the chapter, even if the friendship remains distant. Wale’s everything is a lot is available now on all streaming platforms.

Later that day, Fletcher returned to X to explain the emotional posts and the abrupt message. “Today is my brother’s birthday, and I’m taking this year really hard. I apologize for acting out. I’m losing it today,” she tweeted. The reveal shows that she had been struggling privately and that her grief had influenced the tone of her earlier tweets. The couple has had previous social media issues that have made headlines. The combined posts helped quell the rumors, suggesting that Fletcher’s emotional messages reflected a difficult personal moment rather than a sudden end to the couple’s relationship.

50 Cent Labels Diddy His Favorite Villain
During an interview, 50 Cent, arguably one of hip-hop’s best trolls, didn’t miss the chance to take a stab at Sean “Diddy” Combs. According to the G-Unit founder, Diddy is one of his “favorite villains.” The rapper had recently stopped by MS Now’s The Beat with host Ari Melber to discuss his latest project, Sean Combs: The Reckoning. The Netflix documentary works as an expose of the rise and fall of the disgraced mogul. Fif, who’s been a longtime rival of Diddy, was the executive producer of the docuseries. At one moment of the conversation, Melber asked the rapper to name his favorite heroes and villains. While Fif struggled to recall any heroes, he didn’t hesitate when it came to his favorite villain. “I have a lot of guys that I look up to, their accomplishments,” Fif began. “But I wouldn’t call them my heroes.” He added, “My favorite villain? I kind of like Diddy. Jackson framed his involvement as a response to what he considers an uneasy quiet within the industry. Though he and Diddy have traded barbs for years, 50 Cent insisted the project was not born from past tensions. “If someone’s not saying something, then you would assume everybody in hip-hop is okay with what’s going on,” he said. He suggested that many in music tread lightly around Combs’ stature, creating a climate where critique is rare and often solitary. 50 Cent said he has grown accustomed to being one of the few willing to speak publicly. His remarks hint at a wider debate over power, loyalty, and who feels free to voice concern. The rapper emphasized that his executive producer title did not give him authority over the documentary’s narrative. “There’s no place for me; I didn’t make the docuseries,” he said. “I brought in the best possible people to create it.”
