Burna Boy has offered to pay for the funerals of the victims of the Stockton family shooting. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the Afrobeats star got in touch with Stockton Vice Mayor Jason Lee. “No family should ever face this kind of pain alone,” Burna Boy explained. “I wanted to do whatever I could to support these parents as they begin the long process of healing.” In an official statement, Lee shared his gratitude for Burna Boy’s generosity. “I want to thank Burna Boy for his support of families and children he has never met but still felt moved to help,” Lee said in a statement in response to Burna Boy’s offer. “Let his generosity serve as an example: so many people want to help but may not know how — and our community needs that support now more than ever.” At a vigil on Sunday (Nov. 30), Lee demanded justice for the victims. “What I will say to the people that did this is: it’s never been gangsta to kill kids. Never,” Lee said. “You went to a birthday party and shot people’s children … Parents brought their children out, and they left with medical examiners. That is not human.” “And I will say to those who are thinking of retaliation: when my brother got murdered, I thought about it too. It’s human to want to hurt people who hurt people you love. Chris Paul’s homecoming in Los Angeles has come to an abrupt end. Paul was sent home by the Los Angeles Clippers late on Tuesday night. The team was in the middle of their five-game road trip. Taking to his Instagram story, Paul confirmed that he is no longer with the franchise. “Just found out I’m being sent home,” Paul wrote. The Clippers confirmed that they were parting ways with Paul early on Wednesday morning in an official statement. “We are parting ways with Chris.
