Pooh Shiesty’s Father Released On Bond And Placed On House Arrest

Pooh Shiesty’s father has been released on bond, following his arrest in connection with the kidnapping and robbery of Gucci Mane. On Friday (Apr. 4), Lontrell D. Williams Sr., appeared in court with four other alleged co-conspirators. According to court documents obtained by Fox 13 Memphis, Williams was given a $250,000 bond and put on house arrest. Along with being placed on home confinement, Williams’ travel has been restricted to traveling to and from court dates in Dallas.

The indictment alleges that the physical altercation took place in Dallas recording studio, where Williams Sr. three others oversaw Shiesty—real name Lontrell D. Williams Jr.—discuss his contract with Gucci. At some point, tensions became high and things took terrifying turn. Gucci was allegedly held a gunpoint by two suspects, Kordae Johnson and Darrion McDaniel.

“Instead of discussing business in a civil matter, the defendants resorted to violence and intimidation to achieve their purported business objectives,” stated United States Attorney for the Northern District of Texas, Ryan Raybould. “For anyone contemplating using violence and intimidation as a business practice, I’m here to tell you that it will be vigorously investigated and prosecuted in the Northern District of Texas.”
