During a recent episode of the Heir Time podcast, Reginae Carter revealed how she lost out on a collaboration with Disney. Carter, who was joined by Fat Joe’s daughter, Azariah Cartagena, was discussing how being the children of famous rappers affected their lives and careers. “I had wanted to do something for Disney [and] couldn’t because my uncle said, ‘In about three years, holla at me, Miley Cyrus.’”
The “uncle” the 27-year-old is referring to is, in fact, Young Money president Mack Maine. He is the one behind the vulgar comment on Young Money’s 2009 hit track, “EveryGirl In The World.” “Sanaa Lathan, Meagan Good/Angelina Jolie, ha, D. Woods,” Mack Maine raps on the track. “For free suites, I’d give Paris Hilton all-nighters/In about three years, holla at me, Miley Cyrus.”
Reginae says she was prevented from working with Disney because of a line Mack Maine rapped about Miley Cyrus in “Every Girl.”
